Keep the temperature on 22 degrees or higher. The pipes can freeze up, which can cause a blockage, causing water to drip from the unit.
To keep the chalet cool during the Lowveld’s HOT and HUMID days: Close all curtains, windows and doors before switching on the air conditioners.
Some air conditioning units have a heating facility.
Extra heaters are available in the chalets where the air conditioning unit does not have a heat facility.

First National Bank, Standard Bank, Nedbank, ABSA and other Banking Institutions are situated in Hazyview. For your safety please look after your bank cards at ATM’s and don’t ask strangers for help, rather make use of the facilities inside the bank. Skukuza Camp (Kruger National Park) has a First National Bank and ATM facilities.
Please consider the safety of all the guests and the wildlife in and around the resort when using the above. No cycling or skateboarding in the Central complex or Swimming pool area. No bikes or skateboards allowed on tiled areas
No commercial business of any kind may be conducted on the property, without the permission from the Management and/or Board of Directors.
Children must please be supervised at all times.
A credit card facility for breakages / Admin fees is available in the Timeshare office during office hours. For your convenience the Hotel, Restaurant and Bar do have credit card facilities. Minimum transaction amount on all credit cards R100.00.
The beautiful Sabie River and the North Sand River are Sanbonani’s borders, which forms a confluence at the bottom of the property.
We have a number of primates, animals and birds on the property, some of these animals are very tolerant of human presence and it is tempting to consider them as pets and feed them. PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS they are WILD ANIMALS.
Feeding animals may lead to them becoming a nuisance and create a situation where they have to be destroyed.
We have indigenous trees, plants and grasses on the property. In fact, we have some unique species. Thank you for not damaging and/or removing any plants.
Do not pick up wood for your fire, it may give off toxic fumes and poison your food that is cooked on that fire.
Plants, which are decaying, put nutrients back into the soil and create a living environment for insects. Picking up plants, logs etc may be dangerous to you as they could hide a snake, spider or scorpion.
Fires are strictly forbidden in any area other than the Braai facility at your chalet. You could be held liable for any damages that may result if this rule is transgressed.
Please ensure that all cigarettes and candles are treated with caution so as not to cause any unnecessary damage to the chalet or yourselves.
Firewood, charcoal can be purchased at the shop in the central complex or at the local supermarkets in Hazyview.
Please do not pick up wood on the Resorts property without permission from Resort Management.
Do not change the Temperature setting. If your Fridge is not cold, call Reception (Ext. 9) to send down Maintenance.
Please check inventory on arrival. Any shortage/breakage on arrival must be reported during business hours within 12 hours to the Reception (Ext. 9) or Timeshare Office (Ext. 1515).
Failing this we will assume that you found everything in order and any breakages and/or missing items will be for your account. Thank you for your co-operation.
An IRON and IRONING BOARD is available during office hours, please contact Reception (Ext. 9).
Help us to keep the resort and bush areas in a pristine condition by using the dustbins located around the resort. We respectfully request that you don’t leave food, fruit, sweets, crockery and glasses out on the patio unattended.
Please do not put any metal or metal-coated objects in the microwave. Please use only microwave compatible containers. The use of Tupperware and/or Plastic containers in the microwave is not advisable.
The speed limit at the resort is 20 k.p.h. Please adhere to this limit for your safety and that of children, other guests and the wildlife on the property.
Please DO NOT leave food cooking unattended in the oven or on the stove. The housekeeping staff have been instructed to turn the stove off. This could cause a potentially dangerous situation and is a FIRE HAZARD!
It is with Management’s approval that if you wish to tip any member of the staff who provides commendable service, you may do so at your discretion directly to the relevant staff member. This donation shows that you appreciate their efforts. Thank you.
In addition to all the above the On-Site Manager may request compliance with certain instructions in the interest of the safety and security of all guests. All reasonable instructions from the On-Site Management must be followed.
Must please park in the allocated ‘V’ parking spaces ONLY. Please do not obstruct the roadways and any other guests. No parking or driving on the grass is allowed.

Kindly ensure that all electrical appliances and TV’s are unplugged during a thunderstorm and/or lightning storm. For your convenience an updated weather report for the Hazyview area is on the notice board outside the Timeshare Office.
