House Rules: Management Regulations
In the terms of the Use Agreement the Directors of the Company are entitled to lay down terms and conditions of use both in respect of your room, unit or chalet (hereinafter referred to as “room/s”) and the Property generally, including those relating to the use of radios, televisions, air-cons, swimming pool, gym, tennis courts and any other facilities for recreational use; parking and any other matters as the Directors deem fit for the convenience, comfort and well being of all the users of the Property and the appearance and management of the Property. Furthermore, these terms and conditions may be amended by the Directors from time to time.
Check-in Time - After 15H00
Check-out Time - Before 10H00
Your ease of check in from 15h00 is in fact determined by and dependent upon the checking out guests by 10h00.
During this four hour period, your room must be cleaned, fresh bedding placed on all beds, crockery, cutlery and appliances checked, fresh towels in the bathroom, checking of television reception, air-conditioning and fans as well as attending to any minor repairs that might be necessary.
Therefore, guests who check out later that 10h00 cause unnecessary inconvenience and irritation to guests checking in. It is for this reason that the Directors have agreed to levying a charge for late check out.
Noise levels must be such that no disturbance is caused to your neighbours including those above, below and adjacent to your rooms. This also applies to the corridors, especially after 22H00 and in the early morning.
Bicycles, tricycles, skateboards, roller blades, wheeled trainers or any other “ride-on”, flying or noisy toys shall not be used in the lobby and any public areas of the Resort.
Any damage to the property, its facilities, rooms and/or contents will be repaired and charged to the guest. In cases where damage is extensive and/or malicious, the occupants will immediately be evicted.
Guests are reminded that they are responsible for any damages caused to the room by their guests and for the behaviour of their guests.
Throwing of objects from room/balconies and passages is strictly prohibited. This is extremely dangerous and can cause severe personal injury.
Guests who are identified as having thrown objects will be evicted immediately from the premises.
No towels or clothing may be hung over the balcony rails.
Climbing between room balconies are not permitted.
The Directors have agreed that the Resort should be classified as a non smoking Resort and smoking is not permitted in the rooms.
Please make use of the dedicated smoking facilities in the designated outside areas.
Smoking in public areas is governed by the terms of the Tobacco Control Act.
In no circumstances are pets allowed on the property.
Guests are requested not to feed wild animals such as monkeys, geese, cats and birds as this results in their becoming dependent upon food from the guests.
Management, in conjunction with animal protection agencies and wildlife officials, is then left with the problem of attempting to remove and re-locate the animals in an as humane manner as possible.
Kindly note that all rooms are fully equipped with the necessary electrical appliances and that the use of appliances brought onto the property, such as electrical frying pans and the like is not permitted.
When using air-conditioning units, guests are requested to close all doors and windows and when vacating their rooms, to ensure that the air-cons are switched off.
Security guards have no authority or discretion to change or not to enforce Rules of Access to facilities. These rules are in place for the convenience, comfort, security and general well-being of all guests.
The use of any drugs and the smoking of any prohibited substance is illegal and is not permitted on the property.
Any contraventions of this regulation will be reported to the SA Police Service and could result in the immediate eviction of the guest.
Guests are reminded that liquor may only be served to persons aged 18 years and older. Kindly do not purchase or supply liquor to any under-age persons while on the property.
Please be advised that no personal liquor may be consumed in licensed areas.
Occupancy is limited to the number of persons in terms of the particular room description. No extra beds or mattresses will be provided.
Guests are also requested to refrain from inviting other guests to their rooms as this results in over-crowding of the rooms. Care must be exercised in not causing a disturbance to neighbouring guests.
A charge may be made for any additional bedding requested.
Guests are requested to dress appropriately for the use of recreational facilities. Guests may not swim fully clothed, but must wear suitable swimming attire when making use of the swimming pool.
Kindly note that the use of the swimming pool is restricted to guests at the resort.
These rules have been drafted and are in place for the protection, benefit, convenience and enjoyment of all guests who are kindly requested to follow Management instructions in this regard.
